It’s summertime here at Franklin (and elsewhere too), and we’ve been busy coordinating our weekly summer photography workshops and bringing together the 2008 McKnight Photography Fellows exhibition. Though we’ve certainly got our hands full - summer means something else here too…time to plan for next year! We’re putting our heads together for another great season of exhibitions-related events and ongoing series of activities for art-lovers (and curious onlookers) of all ages.
…and the possibilities are endless! We would love to hear what you’ve got in mind. Yes, YOU! As we’ve learned, programming works best as an extension of projects that are percolating in the community and need a home. Our interest is that our programs work to promote understanding of current exhibitions (us) and offer to the general public educational activities that are both thought-provoking and yes, fun (you!) …
If you’ve got an idea of something you think would work here at Franklin, don’t be shy! Get in touch with us and let us know what you’ve got in mind. The more creative and wide-reaching the better.
