LAST LOOK with First Communion After Party
Music and Closing Event
Saturday, May 22 from 7 to 9pm, free

“A sprawling commune of a band, these prophets of new psychedelia combine the percussive shake of a den of rattlesnakes with waves of guitar that warp and shimmer like heat coming off a stretch of desert blacktop.”
— City Pages
In the spirit of Paolo Arao’s charcoal drawings of rock concerts, local psych-rock band First Communion After Party will give a special performance in Franklin’s freshly debuted Screening Room space in celebration of the current exhibition’s closing.
At 7pm the evening kicks off with a tour of our current series of solo exhibitions by Franklin’s curator and director, Tim Peterson.
Following the performance, enjoy a reception in the galleries – a great opportunity to see the current exhibitions before they close.
