Justin Newhall and Bartholomew Ryan in Dialogue
Join us on Saturday, December 18 at 2pm for a conversation between Walker Art Center Assistant Curator Bartholomew Ryan and Minneapolis artist Justin Newhall.
Newhall and Ryan will discuss Newhall’s photographic series, Northern Studies, currently on view, as well as past works, followed by a brief Q&A.
Bartholomew Ryan is Assistant Curator for Visual Arts at Walker Art Center where he has worked closely on exhibitions such as Haegue Yang: The Integrity of the Insider; Event Horizon, The Talent Show, Dan Graham: Beyond; and From Here to There: Alec Soth’s America. Ryan is also a founding member of LAB MAG, a periodical which collects the work of artists writers and designers that is published every 5 years.
